BLAC in the news: Extra Enforcement after Cannabis Legalization

BLAC’s Interim Executive Director, Selwyn Pieters can be found quoted in this article  by the Toronto Star discussing charges for cannabis after legalization.

Five years after legalization, the enforcement of cannabis-related offences continues to occur more often in lower-income, racialized neighbourhoods, according to a Star analysis of warnings and tickets issued by Toronto police.
